Montana Pick Up

Montana Pick Up is a watercolor on an 8″ x 10″ multi media board.

It is definitely different from painting on watercolor paper. It does have a similar texture and still retains the vibrance of the paint, but you may need to be careful when lifting any color. The top layer will ball up slightly.

Give it a try! This may be your preference when painting in watercolor.

About Kathryn Marks

I'm a watercolor artist , but my most recent paintings are acrylic and watercolor acrylic collage. I love to paint bright rich colors with dark contrasts with my inspiration being the beautiful nature of the Northwest. Now I'm surrounded by oak and pine trees in another country called Texas. © 2016-2017 by Kathryn Marks. All rights reserved

  1. This really came out nice! I enjoyed the progression slide show. Thanks for talking about the multi-media board. I’ve never tried it and might have to experiment.

Cool slideshow! It’s sort of like a time-lapse video. :o)

    Very nice painting, too!

Though the snow effect on this page makes my horizontal scroll bar flash.

I would love to hear from you! Please leave a message or ask a question!
