The Salal Review

I was very excited to see posters for the The Salal Review advertising for the publication and the Salal Spring Arts Festival at LCC in Longview.   One of my paintings, Event Horizon, is shown on the poster. You can pick up a copy of  The Salal Review on May 27 at the festival that starts at 1:00.  Some of my favorite people will be showing and demonstrating their art – Scott McRae, Audrey Hoffman, and Debby Neely. The students and advisors did a wonderful job on on the poster and I’m sure the literary and arts magazine is going to very enjoyable to look at and read. I see Austin Brigden(one of the students) often, and I just want to say a Big Thank You in writing. The site to visit to read more about The Salal Review is listed in My Favorite Sites. Check it out for prior years, then in June check again for the 2011 issue.

About Kathryn Marks

I'm a watercolor artist , but my most recent paintings are acrylic and watercolor acrylic collage. I love to paint bright rich colors with dark contrasts with my inspiration being the beautiful nature of the Northwest. Now I'm surrounded by oak and pine trees in another country called Texas. © 2016-2017 by Kathryn Marks. All rights reserved
